Recruitment Details
CLAT 2027 is an essential aptitude test assessing candidates' analytical reasoning, general awareness, legal aptitude, and language skills. The test will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 120 marks to be completed in a duration of 2 hours. A negative marking scheme of 0.25 marks per wrong answer is applicable.

Seats are allocated across 26 National Law Universities based on merit ranks, category reservations, and university-specific eligibility preferences for both 5-year UG law courses and 1-year PG law programmes.
Eligibility Conditions
- UG Law Course (5-Year Integrated LL.B.):
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
- Age Limit: No upper age limit.
- PG Law Course (1-Year LL.M.):
- Educational Qualification: Passed LL.B. degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
- Age Limit: No upper age limit.
