Educational Qualification Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidates with an integrated dual degree must complete it on or before 31 December 2026.

Final-year or final-semester students may apply provisionally, but they must produce proof of passing the graduation examination on or before 31 December 2026 if provisionally selected. Matriculate Ex-servicemen with the prescribed Armed Forces education certificate and at least 15 years of service are also eligible, provided the certificate is dated on or before 31 December 2026.

The 110 regular vacancies comprise 7 SC, 13 ST, 29 OBC, 11 EWS and 50 General posts. The 39 vacancies under the special drive are reserved for ST candidates.

Note: A candidate can apply for vacancies in only one State/UT under each recruitment project. Under the regular recruitment, inter-circle or inter-state transfer is not available before completion of 5 years of service, and requests after 5 years may be considered only in exceptional cases under the Bank’s policy. The special backlog drive does not provide inter-circle or inter-state transfer, apart from the stated intra-state arrangements in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Age Limit Candidates must be at least 20 years and not more than 28 years of age as on 1 April 2026. They must have been born not earlier than 2 April 1998 and not later than 1 April 2006, with both dates included.

Ex-servicemen and disabled ex-servicemen receive relaxation equal to the actual period of defence service plus 3 years, or 8 years for disabled ex-servicemen belonging to SC/ST, subject to a maximum age of 50 years.

Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands who have not remarried receive 7 years of relaxation, subject to maximum ages of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates. The General/EWS limit applies only to the regular recruitment.

Eligible trained apprentices of SBI receive relaxation of 1 year for General/EWS, 4 years for OBC, 6 years for SC/ST, 11 years for PwBD (General/EWS), 14 years for PwBD (OBC) and 16 years for PwBD (SC/ST). General/EWS and PwBD (General/EWS) apprentice relaxations apply only under the regular advertisement.

Eligible trained apprentices of SBI receive 5 bonus marks, equal to 2.5% of the maximum Main Examination marks, after meeting the conditions stated in the respective notice.

Local Language Proficiency Test Provisionally selected candidates who did not study the selected local language in Class 10 or Class 12 must qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test before joining. Candidates who produce a Class 10 or Class 12 marksheet or certificate showing that they studied the selected language are exempt from this test.

Register with your name, contact details and other basic information, then note the provisional registration number and password. Fill in your personal, educational and category details, and select one State/UT with the prescribed local language. Upload the photograph, live photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, handwritten declaration and applicable certificates. Preview the form carefully because no change or correction is allowed after final submission. Pay the applicable fee online and submit the application. Save the e-receipt and application printout for future use. Note: Each advertisement has its own application form and last date.
