Banking aspirants seeking a secure public sector career across India, including Assam, can apply for 11,403 total openings, out of which 349 vacancies are specifically allocated for Assam. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution, possess basic operating knowledge in computer systems, and be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the applied state. The monthly pay scale offers competitive remuneration with increments up to âš64,480.
The selection procedure involves a competitive two-tiered examination structure: a Preliminary Online Exam followed by a Main Online Exam testing English, Numerical/Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, and Financial Awareness. Eligible candidates must complete their online registration via the official portal between August 1, 2026, and August 21, 2026.
